Tander this year enters his 16th season as a full-time driver in the V8 Supercars Championship. He again performed well in 2010, despite the factory Holden team struggling, and still finished fifth in the championship, a result he repeated in 2011 when he clinched his third Bathurst crown. Six race wins – including the endurance double with new teammate Will Davison at Phillip Island and Bathurst – helped propel ‘GT’ to third in the championship. The only Holden driver to win a solo driver round in 2008, Tander again was a championship challenger in 2009.
